It sits on top of a peak overlooking the Faraya Eyoun El Simane mountains, right between the slopes of Mzaar ski resort and the attractive historical site of Chabrouh dam. Snow-seekers from all over the globe are enchanted by Auberge Le Valais' cozy and inviting interior.

Auberge Le Valais is exclusively and intimately sized, with just twelve rooms of either the deluxe or the suite variety. In the evenings, guests can gather in the warmly-lit lobby and exchange tales from the slopes in an atmosphere of Swiss decor and vintage handcrafted woodwork.

More than just an alpine cottage, Augerge Le Valais also includes two restaurant options for a fine dining experience without leaving the premises. According to the theme of inspiration from Switzerland, the Le Valais Swiss restaurant serves traditional, authentic Swiss dishes. Or, for those seeking a taste of the real Lebanon, the Wadi Chabrou restaurant prepares best-loved Lebanese dishes made with local ingredients.

+ The view is so relaxing and beautiful, it only takes 10 minutes to reach the ski place. Food is great.

+ Very homely, comfortable and warm. Nice restaurant and friendly staff. Very well situated with a stunning view of the valley and surrounding mountain-side. Altogether I would describe my experience there as very pleasant.

- The location meant that I had to be leaving quite early to reach the ski-lift in order to avoid the traffic. In fairness this drawback is not really a criticism of the hotel itself as every other hotel in the surrounding area will face the same problem.

+ I loved the place, the location was Awesome. The staff was very nice and they even helped rescue me when my Jeep got stuck in the mud!
