Lying idyllically in the picturesque Bekaa Valley between two mountain ranges at an altitude of 950 meters, the Chtaura Park Hotel is less than an hour away from the airport, and barely a 30-minute drive to the Syrian border that’s only half an hour away from Damascus.

The spacious rooms feature elegant décor with a luxurious touch, providing all the expected amenities such as mini-bar, toiletries, bath robes, satellite TV, hair dryer, and a private balcony for quiet afternoon tea.

Guests can enjoy many restaurants on the premises, such as Le Diplomat, offering European specialties with terraced seating. Al Dawali boasts Lebanese flavors with different delicious food stations to choose from. The hotel terrace is also a great place for drinks and narguilehs or hubbly bubblies.
For a good time in the evening, the Cheers pub offers drinks and a casual atmosphere, while Le Saint Nightclub features dance parties every Saturday as well as live entertainment.

+ Location, swimming pool.

- Internet was very bad. WIFI signal did not reach the room although I was at the first floor. I had to go down to the lobby or cafe to use internet. I asked the receiption to find some solution but they were not helpful. Breakfast was not up to 05 stars hotels. I stayed at 04 star hotels whose breakfast was much better.

+ The Chtaura Park offers exactly what you would expect and hope for from a business-class hotel. (with the exception of breakfast which was pretty moderate). The rooms are large, clean and well-appointed. I was there out of season so the pool was closed, though the gym was available. The staff in reception were friendly and efficient. The hotel is well positioned in Chtaura, just off the main road. The winter rate ($90) was very good value.

- This isn't a criticism, but a limitation: the hotel lacks character. One could have been almost anywhere in the world. The breakfast was moderate.
