Golden Tulip Galleria Hotel 
On the western tip of the city lies the Golden Tulip Galleria Hotel. Not far from the seaside, the hotel is a mere 7-minute drive from the airport, and a five-minute walk to one of Beirut’s best department stores, the BHV.
The Golden Tulip Galleria Hotel has 162 rooms and 12 suites on 11 floors, with all rooms offering an open city view or a picturesque sea view. As expected in a first-rate hotel, the rooms have ironing facilities, safety deposit boxes, individual climate control and other luxury amenities. Connecting rooms are also an option for larger families. A description of room types follows:
Deluxe room – About 35m2 in size, with a king-size bed or two comfortable single beds.
Executive room – Large 45m2 rooms that are elegantly furnished, with one king-size bed or two single beds, and a convenient sitting area.
Junior suite – This suite features a bedroom with a king size bed, as well as a living area with all amenities such as a copier, a fax, a DVD player and more
Business suite – With the same business amenities of the Junior suite, with one king size bedroom and a separate living room.
Premiere suite – Imagine bedrooms with king size beds, with a large living room as well.
Presidential suite – Fit for a king, this suite is an upgrade over the premium suite with more amenities and a Jacuzzi.
RESTAURANTS & BARS
Atrium Cafe – With the finest in international cuisine and light snacks, this recently renovated café works any time of the day, including breakfast. There are also tasty a la carte selections from Asia and Italy.
Champions Sports Bar & Restaurant – An American-style sports bar that opens for dinner and airs sporting events on large TVs. Popular American food and western favorites are served, as well as cocktails and drinks.
Lobby Lounge – Perfect for cocktails, teatime and cakes, the Lobby Lounge also serves breakfast and snacks for those who like the hustle and bustle of big hotel lobbies.
Palms Brasserie – An international, elegant restaurant with a French twist, this is ideal for a business get-together or more formal social outings. A la carte dining means there’s something for everyone.
Waves Pool Bar & Grill – Open during the warmer months with a view of the Mediterranean Sea, this outlet is known for its weekend barbecues and buffets. It also serves snacks, lunch or dinner on the other days.
Facilities at the Galleria include an outdoor swimming pool, five conference rooms and high-speed internet access. There is also a health club that offers a complete gym, a steam room, a sauna room and massage service.
