Positioned right at the end of busy Hamra street, just far enough from the busy cars and shops that are only one minute up the road, the Grand Hotel Versailles is a short walk to the seaside and a few minutes from the Airport.

The Grand Hotel Versailles has been classified as a Four-Star A hotel for the spaciousness of its 73 rooms and Diplomatic Suites. Classical furniture with plush carpeting give an elegant feel to the rooms, which include all the amenities such as coffeemakers and internet ports. There are six types of rooms as follows:

Superior room – with single or double bedding
Executive room – single or double bedding with business facilities
Junior suite – contains one superior bedroom and a living room
Diplomatic suite – contains one executive bedroom and a living room
Ambassador suite – contains two superior bedrooms and a living room
Presidential suite – contains two executive bedrooms and a living room

RESTAURANTS

There are four food and beverage outlets in the hotel. La Fontaine Restaurant offers a varied mix of local and international specialties, while Al Diwan Lounge is the epitome of traditional Lebanese restaurants and décor. The hotel also has a nightclub, as well as a pub called Harry’s that offers a good selection of cognacs and cigars among other things.

Leisure facilities include a rooftop swimming pool for a healthy tan right in the city, as well as sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. There is also a fitness room, as well as the Versailles Theater featuring international shows from time to time.

The Versailles Theater - accessible through an outside entrance, one of Beirut’s most luxurious theaters, which accommodates 490 persons. Equipped to host seminars, congresses and conference as well as theatrical and motion picture activities

The Board Room - board meeting room for business functions for up to 12 persons.
