Arguably considered the only western-style hotel in the city of Tripoli, the Quality Inn is set in lush gardens right in the heart of the city's Rachid Karami International Fair. The hotel is a short walk away from Tripoli's famed souks and historical attractions, and only an hour away by car from the Cedars of Lebanon and ski resorts.

The property's 112 smartly furnished rooms and suites are up to western standards; so are the banqueting and conference facilities that can host up to 1000 people.

Food and beverage options abound, with a delightful rooftop restaurant, piano bar, coffee shop, and a grill restaurant in the garden. Leisure-wise there are indoor and outdoor swimming pools, as well as tennis court, a health club, and a Turkish bath that reflects the area's historical charms.

- The hotel was not clean. I was shocked to see a 4 star hotel lacking a clean room and bathroom.

+ Clean and quiet.

- 1. No alcohol available - even in the rooms. 2. A bit remote from city - especially if you have no car. 3. TV programming not very international. 4. No evening entertainment as in many other hotels.

+ The hospitality of its staff, and its central location.

- As a 4 star hotel, some basics were missing, like keeping in the room fruits basket, mineral water. What is really not good is the dirty carpet, which I recommend to remove and replace with ceramic tiles, because it looks and smells bad.

+ We (me & family) liked the support and help of the staff Whenever are needed. The location and good view.

- There was no good and respectful TV set fixed in the two room. They have very old tv system.. No int'l TV channels such as NBC CNN etc. And others sport channels.. Someday boring.. I stayed six (6) days only.. Also very slow Ethernet to communicate with the outside world.. I tried at the business room which was in bad location deep in that corridore, and has only one computer set. That's all and in my opinion .. It was a problem to me. Seriously.. But getting busy w/ other things cover it up but if I am staying for more than six days absolutely I will say something different..
