A famous landmark on the Beirut’s hotel scene for the last few decades, the Riviera Hotel and adjacent Riviera Yacht Club were renovated in 1998 with modern facilities and standards in mind. The seaside hotel has a stunning view of the Mediterranean and is close to all important business and shopping areas of the city.
Consisting of 120 rooms and suites, the hotel offers you the choice of sea view rooms or garden view rooms, either with one King-size bed or with twin beds. All rooms have a mini-bar, desk, safety deposit box, wi-fi internet and hairdryer among other amenities.
The Piano Bar and Lounge, next to the impressive lobby, offer live music in the evenings, drinks and light dinners. For a more outdoor experience, the Riviera Yacht Club restaurant by the sea offers you a daily choice of fresh fish with traditional Lebanese Meza, as well as fresh, exotic juices and cocktails from the bar. There are traditional Arabic nights with music and a belly dancer often.
Leisure and sea sports are plentiful at the Riviera Yacht Club, with two outdoor swimming pools, access to the sea, and a modest marina that fits up to 45 boats. The club allows guests to enjoy jet skiing, water skiing, fishing, sailing and scuba diving. Its diving school is PADI certified, boasting a solid safety record and qualified instructors. For a more indoors-type activity, there is a health club with massage, sauna and steam facilities.
