Considered the first property to be built in Laklouk, this hotel is known as one of the more distinguished in the area. Close to the ski area of Laklouk, the Shangri-La boasts an attractive lobby with a fireplace and a quaint, stone-built exterior.
The hotel is split among two buildings, the Shangri-La Hotel which is the main building, and the Nirvana which is the annex building, holding up to 30 rooms.There are different types of accommodation choices, from single to quadruple that fit four people. Rooms offer showers instead of bathtubs, and are not equipped with televisions. There is also no elevator access to rooms. On the inside, wood and warm fabrics make the hotel cozy, matching perfectly with the surroundings. A restaurant is also available on the premises.
Apart from the attractive outdoor pool, there are many paid activities sponsored by the hotel, such as rock climbing, biking, archery, tennis, and much more.
A compulsory BBQ dinner is applied on Saturdays for $33/adult and $22/child.
