Considered one of the first-rate chalet hotels in the area, the Stone Chalets attracts families and groups more than individuals. The property is only a brief walk from the ski lift and slopes, as well as the InterContinental hotel and village center. The stone walls not only add charm to the experience, but also offer adequate insulation against the elements of nature which might be harsh during the cold winter months.

The property has one-bedroom chalets and two-bedroom chalets with kitchenettes. The latter come in three types:

The first type of two-bedroom chalets has a balcony that looks out to the front of the property sleeps up to six persons. It boasts a double room and a bedroom with a bunk bed, in addition to a living/dining area with a fireplace.


The third and largest type of two-bedroom chalets sleeps up to 10 people and is located underground. It contains two bedrooms with bunk beds, two large living rooms and dining facilities, as well as a fully stocked kitchenette.

Generally, apart from the beds in the bedrooms, all chalets fit two extra persons on the living room sofa beds. Note that guests are requested to bring their own towels.

The second type of two-bedroom chalets also sleeps up to six and consists of a double room, a twin room and living/dining facilities with a fireplace. These chalets boast a mountain view.
