As the only four-star property in the Faraya-Mzaar and Faqra area, Terre Brune opened its doors in December of 2004. It boasts a luxury feel, yet also gets by with all the coziness and intimacy of a snow lodge. Terre Brune is very close to Faqra and Mzaar, giving you access to the skiing activities of both villages.
Most of the 40 rooms look out onto the majestic ruins of the Roman Temple of Faqra and the region’s snowcapped hills. They range from Deluxe Double rooms to Ambassador Suites, all with warm, wood-laden décor. The breakup of the rooms is as follows:
20 Deluxe Bedrooms – bathroom and private balcony. 14 executive rooms – salon, bathroom, and private balcony. 4 Junior Suites – bedroom, sitting room, large bathroom, and private balcony. 2 Ambassador Suites – two bedrooms, sitting room, two bathrooms, dressing room, and 2 private balconies.
There is a restaurant and a night club on the property, as well as a shopping center. An outdoor pool is also available during the warmer months.
