| Al Kammoua
This picturesque region is known for the characteristically Alpine fir forest that used to flourish here, as well as its beautiful streams and rugged mountains. The Kamoua area is the biggest forest reservoir in all of LebanonAccording to studies conducted by the army, there exist about 10 million trees of 46 different species all found in Lebanon, as well as hundreds of shrubs and thousands of flowers, in addition to several ruins sites scattered throughout the region..

The forest in Fnaidik is considered unique in its beauty and diversity, with over 400,000 trees of one type, at an altitude of 1,600m above sea level. The trees were subjected to severe conditions of logging especially during world war two, because the trees were used by the British army to construct the train railway, "Orient Express".
