All Hotels near Kefraya Basket Making in Lebanon

Interlaced baskets from reeds that grow along the riverbanks is an ancient craft still practiced in rural villages. Palm leaves are traditionally woven into prayer mats or fishing baskets. Long before, the majority of Kefraya’s population used to live from this craft, women as men. Actually we can find only the elder people still making baskets.
