Mar Saba is a small medieval construction of pastel stone, still retains fragments of the 13th century wall paintings. These include Saint George and Saint Demetrios on horseback and a crucifixion scene. The patron Saint of the village with the antique dome on top was built more than 100 years ago with its marvelous sculpture designs. The "Wakf" has added a large hall equipped with audio installation that is used during various occasions.
