Mousayliha - the diminutive form of Maslaha, Arabic word for a fortified place is a castle perched on a rocky podium. Its spectacular location and the picturesque bridge crossing the Jose River make it a popular. The fortress and the old bridge were maybe built by Fakhreddine II in 1624 to guard the route from Tripoli to Beirut. You enter the diamond shaped castle by a narrow path and rock-cut steps.
