Situated in Zahle and originally constructed for Arak production, Solifed’s Winery has gradually been expanded and modernized to accommodate Domaine Wardy wines. Domaine Wardy is a new producer with no less than 12 different wines (including mono-varietals and a special Christmas wine). The owner is Salim Wardy and his family also owns the historic Ghantous Abou Raad arak brand. In 2002, Domaine Wardy became the third wine brand in Lebanon and the leader in arak production. Today, its products continue to win awards and medals in international competitions.
